Mt. Woodson



Went hiking today with my friend Sabrina at Mt. Woodson in Ramona. It wasn't was I was expecting at all. I never would've thought that it would be 80% concrete driveway instead of hill or mountain. My feet are definitely going to killing me in the morning but it was definitely a pretty view.

Skateworld

Had lots of fun skating. Fell a couple times but that's okay. Who knew that skating could be such a great leg work out. I'm sore all over my quads but it was all worth the fun. I will definitely be doing this again in the future.

New things

Trying something a little different today. Instead of a traditional or normal outdoor activity, a couple of friends are gonna goto Skateworld in Linda Vista. I've never gone there before but roller skating sounds like a fun way to burn calories.

Time flies when your having fun

Getting a bike was the best idea ever. Staying active is a no brainer! I ride around the neighborhood and even to the store. It's like I'm not even working out it comes so easy. I notice that it's becoming easier to pedal and ride for longer periods of time without stopping.

New Toy!

Got this new bike from a friend today. I'm pretty excited. Now that I have a bicycle I can go bike riding with my friends. This will definitely change the way I've been staying active.

Feeling under the weather

Not feeling so well today. Think I'm going to have to skip the workout today. I'll try to make up later on this week, I've just been in bed all day with a cold. Hopefully it goes by soon.

Back in Action

First day back on my routine after taking a sick day. Feeling much better health wise but I'm definitely noticing how out of it taking a day or two off can do hopefully I didn't put myself too behind. Going to go for a light run today at Medowbrook.

Took advantage of my old high school's track today. Chris and I timed ourselves on the mile. Let's just say it's been a long time since I ran on a track. 9:35 mile wasn't so bad. Definitely going to be looking to improve it in the next three months.

Status

Another status update, weighed myself and there isn't any noticeable change. I'm still weighing in at 120 lbs. The only real difference that I've noticed is that I'm a little sore the day following my workouts but that's normal so I'm not too worried.
